I have a son who is a millennial and I am distressed to hear that his generation is no more enlightened than my own (baby boom generation). I tend to see Millennials through his eyes. and those of my clients who are his age. His friends and partners span the entire ethnic spectrum. I indeed live in a hopeful bubble. I agree, though, that each generation hands down to the next one their own biases, so I shouldn't be surprised that "the beat goes on and on and on!" I had hoped it changed dramatically with my generation, but knew it hadn't. How many generations does it take, I wonder?
